Cream-colored coat, ca. 1906, made of a dense, single-weave fabric made of wool (English: broadcloth). Label: A. Defenburg * Philadelphia. The coat is decorated with a passe-partout border in the shoulder-collar area and in the front. Long sleeves that end with a band at the wrist and then end in pagoda cuffs (in two layers). The front is made of panne velvet and fastens with brass buttons with glass inlays. One button has been replaced. The inside is lined with satin silk. In very good condition. Subtle signs of age and wear. A few tiny holes. The inner silk is torn in the collar area and in the underarm area. The decoration is not included. The coat can still be worn carefully today.
