Two piece evening or ball gown, ca. 1895. Yellow silk damask with embroidered white marguerites. Label inside: Keily * New York. The bodice has little puff sleeves. You can’t see them under the many lace. Drooping lace on the neck decolletage. Front closure with hooks and eyes. The skirt rund down in an elegant train. The skirt is decorated with a pearls and gold threads ribbon. “Downwelling” lace applications. Underskirt with (lace) edgings. Good conditon with a few flaws: The silk has a few splits and is shattering in a few places. Two larger tears in the fabric on the backside of the skirt. A few pearls are missing. Cracked silk on the hemline of the skirt (a few places). But unfortunately: A very beautiful and decorative gown. The decoration is not included.
