Victorian two-piece dress handmade from different materials. This let the dress appear very elegant. Labelled with “Robes & Confection * Rosa Taussig Stein * Prag”. Very rare! On the cornflower-blue taffeta are artfully processed lace, tulle, sequins, steel- and turquoise-beads. Typical for this period are the puffed sleeves and elegant train. The condition is very good. The bodice silk lining and the sleeves tulle are with slightly worn places. Minor water stains noted as shown to the hemline of the skirt. No stitched waist band (see photos). The cornflower-blue colour makes this hardly noticeable. The label, the rare colour and the elaborate workmanship are reflected in the price. The decoration is not included in the price.
