A dream in pink! A beautiful evening gown from France, perhaps worn around 1890 at receptions or balls in Paris. The antique dress is a two-piece gown consisting of bodice and skirt. Made of two-tone striped silk, which has been combined with tulle and pink feathers to a unique creation. Sleeveless. Wide V-neck. Bows on the shoulders. Lacing at the back. Small snip. The skirt ends in a long train. Under the train it has a built-in bustle in glazed (pink) cotton fabric. Five lateral silk bows in pink tulle in the front part of the skirt. Good to very good condition. One ballpoint pen stroke on the train. A few stains on the sides, but hardly noticeable. A small tear in the tulle under the snip. Missing cords. The decoration is not included.
