Very elegant morning dress made of woven paisley cloth. Material: wool. Paisley pattern is the name for an abstract decorative fabric pattern. In its basic form, it represents a leaf with a pointed, curved end in the manner of a large comma. Origin of the morning dress: England, ca. 1895. Gigot sleeves typical of this period of Victorian fashion. Small collar and sleeve ends in embossed velvet. Inside: Waist band with buckle. Outside: implied belt that can be laced on each side. Front closure. Five black decorative bows (from the top bow, the morning dress is sewn shut towards the hem). Glazed cotton side pocket. Small train. Very well preserved. The decoration is not included.
