"Habit a la Francaise", French Frock Coat, Waistcoat, ca. 1760, Europe (France or Germany). Stripped silk with green, cream and aubergine panels. Woven flower motives and dots. 10 original buttons. The square-cut shape, standing collar and welt pocket are characteristic of the waistcoat styles in the 1760s. Very good condition. The waistcoat needs on the backside some stitches. A few seams are open. Underarm stains. The decoration is not included.
