Käme dieses Korsett aus England, dann wäre es in der Regency-Zeit getragen worden. Käme es aus Frankreich wäre es ein Empire-Korsett. Es kommt jedoch aus Amerika, was es noch seltener und wertvoller macht. Es stammt aus der Sammlung von Doris Raymond. Gefertigt ist es aus Baumwollstoff. Schön verziert mit Kordelapplikationen. Ösen aus Bein, die das rückwärtige Schnüren erleichtern. Name der ersten Besitzerin ist mit Tinte geschrieben: Charlotte Glose (oder Close), No 10. Wahrscheinlich war das Korsett Teil der Hochzeitsaussteuer. Sehr, sehr selten. Sehr gut erhalten. Ein Fleck auf der vorderen Seite. Die Korsett-Schnüre sind ersetzt. Die Dekoration ist nicht inbegriffen.

Eyelets made of bone, which facilitate the lacing in the back. Name of the first owner is written in ink: Charlotte Glose (or Close), No 10. Probably the corset was part of the wedding trousseau. Very, very rare. Very well preserved. One stain on the front side. Replaced laces. The decoration is not included.
